Managing Director: Julian Roe
Julian started his career in security as a commissioned officer in the Parachute Regiment where he served for 6 years.
After working abroad for a year, he returned to the UK and became a police officer, serving with both the London Metropolitan and Avon and Somerset Police.
A career change saw him move into the private security sector and soon saw the opportunity to form Delta Security Ltd. Over the last 7 years, Julian has become a respected businessman with clients and employees alike. The latter’s welfare is of particular importance to him and is indicative to the approach and values he cascades through the whole company.
Julian’s expertise now lies in Special Projects and Close Protection management and training.
Operations Director: Meirion Isaac MSyl MILM
Meirion is a security industry compliance specialist and is appointed as the General Manager of Delta Security Limited, responsible to the MD for the Manned Guarding Operation function of the business, including Business Development and Operational Management.
Having completed a full career with the Parachute Regiment, “My” left the army as a Sergeant Major. Meirion has been involved with the security industry for over 15 years, where he has held appointments as Director of Manned Guarding & General Manager.
Meirion is a member of the Security Institute and has successfully achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Security Management & Management and holds a University certificate in Security Risk Management from MOD Cranfield University.
Regional Business Manager (South): David Gowen Porter
David is an experienced security industry Senior Manager having worked for two National security companies spanning 15 years.
Prior to this he finished his Army career as a Regimental Sergeant Major. David has been in charge of a large regional branch with a turnover of £10M+, including key account of £2M+. His knowledge of the security industry business environment is second to none.
He recently secured the accounts for British Airways Maintenance Centre and the prestige waterfront complex of Mermaid Quay in Cardiff. David completed the three year “Certificate of Competence in Management”, and is a qualified martial artist instructor.
Regional Business Manager (North): John Gillespie
John, in his previous career, was a Senior Detective with the South Yorkshire Police.
Following his police career John was appointed as a Director of a small security company, who in a short time was the main influence in the company growing into a major competitor in the North of England with a turnover of £10M.
John returned to the security industry after a short period as an owner manager of two large hotels. He has systematically consolidated our Northern region and has now expanded the area of operations. John, in his own words, is “old school” and insists in a high level of customer service as a priority as a means of establishing Delta as a company of choice to its customer base.
